The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The influential industry figure died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
